THE VIEW - RAVE REVIEWS

VIEW GETS RAVE REVIEWS FROM ATTENDEES!

So where were you this weekend?  Did you miss us?  Well, we sure do wish you could have been there – because you missed out on a lot of fun that we wish we could have shared with you. This truly was a weekend of weekends, an experience many are still talking about as Reps viewed  National Training Director Marc Accetta and team outperforming last year's View in a big way.

What exactly did you miss, you ask? Well for starters you missed: some awesome new skits, a pie-throw-off between rival teams, this year's recipient of the Kim Eaton Hero Award, recognition of new leaders by existing field leaders, presentation of new trainers, and so much more we couldn't possibly cover three amazing days in this one article.  However, we can share with you just a few of the highlights:
Basketball Player – The first of the new skits portrayed Chief Marketing Officer Dan Stammen skillfully playing one-on-one basketball with National Training Director Marc Accetta. After Dan skillfully beat Marc in a game of Horse, Marc finished out the weekend accusing Dan of cheating.
Freud & Snow White - Another of the new skits revealed the amazing acting talents of many of our top income earners in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs meet Sigmund Freud. Dopey was played by Jeff Bolf, Byron Schrag depicted Sleepy, Wes Melcher gave a command performance as Grumpy, Dave Watson debuted his version of Sneezy, and Marc & Kelli's daughter Alex Accetta was presented to the audience as the character of Happy, and Marc performed as the oddly compelling Sigmund Freud. Finally, Marc brilliantly and ironically cast Dr.  David Pietsch as Bashful.  (Believe us when we say, this skit alone was worth the whole weekend.)

Dancer – This skit in particular spotlighted Kelli Accetta's amazing dance talent as she busted out her Britney Spears-style dance moves, and continued with a moving story and message encouraging the audience to never let anyone steal your dreams. So, which skit was your favorite?  Vote for your favorite skit today by logging onto www.WVView.com.

BBBS Auction - Following a presentation from Big Brothers Big Sisters President Charles Pierson,  CEO Mike Azcue talked about his own new little brother and CVO Wayne Nugent is also well on his way to having his own little brother very soon. The day continued with former auctioneer Dave Watson leading the crowd in an auction which raised $100,000 for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Auction items included: a turkey call from Byron Schrag, an autographed Miley Cyrus guitar, floor seats for the Mavs with Mike & Wayne, Wayne's tie from Friday night along with a personal recruiting session, and a signed football and lunch for 12 with Deion Sanders.

Recognition - Recognition efforts were front and center throughout the weekend as top field leaders took the stage alongside executives to recognize the accomplishments of everyone from Senior Reps through International Marketing Directors. All were acknowledged for their outstanding efforts and leadership.
New trainers - Matt Morris and Eric Gryzbowski also  took their place in the Trainers circle as they were commended for maintaining sales while expanding and supporting their teams.  And this year's Top State Trophy (which recognizes the state who brought the most attendees to the View) was awarded to none other than the grand state of TEXAS!

International Convention-(Tickets Now On Sale) - The upcoming  International Convention 2010, to be held April 23 & 24 in Dallas, Texas was promoted with an outstanding video compilation  from last year's The Time is Now Convention.  And only those who attended the View received the one-day-only, early bird special price. However, Convention tickets are now available to everyone in the back office. And while you're in the back office, remember to register for and attend the Rovia LTC Annual Conference! Special pricing discounts will be given on Convention 2010 at the LTC Annual Conference, so be sure to attend!

New Military Promotion – After a touching Special Forces character from Marc, former Marine Wayne Nugent took the stage in uniform, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Randy Bowles, Mike Azcue, Jim Tilmon and Jim Hurley, to announce the new “WorldVentures Salutes the Armed Forces” Military Promotion. For all those who have or are currently serving our country, this is the WorldVentures way of saying thanks for all you do.  (See back office flier for full details.)

Kim Eaton Award Winner–This year's Kim Eaton Award was presented by Byron Schrag to Jim Tilmon. Jim is a retired Captain in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, pilot, aviation expert, award-winning journalist and television personality. Jim  was nominated as the person who most closely embodies Kim Eaton's loving spirit of service, determination and heroism. We congratulate Jim and his wife Joan on this accomplishment!

Pietsch vs. Johnston Pie-off - Then history was made as the audience witnessed the first-ever WorldVentures pie-throwing event between rival teams led by David Pietsch and Jeff Johnston.  Several weeks ago David Pietsch's team challenged Jeff Johnston and team in a small sales contest, and following the entertaining tale of victory as told by Scott Ross, Pietsch and team threw a pie in the face of Jeff Johnston and his two team members and another WorldVentures history-making moment was made.

So while we're sorry  that you missed out on the View this year, we're looking forward  to sharing more fun times with you at the upcoming LTC Annual Conference, so be sure to register today.
And we'll see you at next year's A VIEW from the Edge!

Ouch, I got stung by a wasp

Hi Partner,

Just back from our 1st UK Dream Trip and WOW!!!!
It's official, Dream Trips are ALL that they are cracked up to be. No wonder 90% of members who experience one never leave.

There were almost 100 of us that booked in time, the trip was SOLD OUT in 4 days. Next time hurry if you missed this one.

So many of you wanted to go but your familiar friend, procrastination/stories stole the event away from you and left you disappointed.

So, we paid about........ almost nothing, hehehee ;-)

As many of you know I love to travel and have been blessed to have travelled more than 99% of the population. The experience of doing it with so many like minded people takes everything to new heights, we are even looking at adding optional personal development events on future trips as a few members think this would be the icing on the cake.

Most of us arrived during the day on Friday and settles into our lodges set in the most beautiful 400+ acres of secluded lush forest filled with 10,000's of trees, I love nature and natural environments so much, they connect me to a strong power source.

Friday night around 20 of us ended up in the water park. Huge pool with water slides that were super fun. My favorites were the rapids, like white water rafting without the rafts and the short, steep super fast slide, I took off into the air at one point.

Saturday morning we all had a private breakfast together. There were 100+ activities to choose from and everyone did their own thing in smaller groups throughout the day, archery, pool, walking, biking, beach, boating, eating, drinking, snooker, tennis, quad biking, spa.....the list goes on.

20+ of us went on the Treasure trail. Started in one team, broke the gears on one bike and eventually joined Arturo and Frank with their beautiful girlfriends on a 2.5 hour biking journey. Met with a HUGE resistance at one point where we were stuck, we were tires, hot, thirsty and no idea where to look next, felt like giving up and had to make a choice, just like in business. Do we give up or break through, naturally being winners we broke through and got ALL the clues.
Jaysul and team did it in 45 minutes and won, well done. We as a team won our own battle just by getting to the finish line together.

Went Ten Pin Bowling(came 2nd, well done Prab for winning)

Table Tennis tournament(Lost miserably, been decades, There were approx 20 players, Roger Galloway, who organised the tournament took 1st prize, well done champ)

Frisbee on beach(Had a blast with Jaysul and his team, sand everywhere)

Laser guns(I Won the all against all, yippee, we lost as a team to a bunch of strangers, oops!), had so much fun rolling around in the mud and hiding in the dense forestry and getting ambushed.

Flew like a butterfly, then got stung by a wasp. OUCH!!!!! My 1st ever wasp bite and it hurt like crazy. Apparently the sting carries on vibrating in the flesh, this causes the ongoing pain.

Back in the Water Park, this time about 40 of us. We took over, my favorite part was the initiation ceremony, everyone had to jump into the freezing cold water and stay there as long as possible. Everyone did it. At one point it was surreal, there were about 20 of us in the super hot outdoor Jacuzzi starring at the stars and just bonding. Could not put a price on that.

Feeding ducks and chilling in the forest by the lake with Harinders baby Maya, love her to bits. Magic moments.

BarBQ(They cooked, I ate, yummy) Just sharing, joking and generally having fun, creating memories and bonding relationships with loved ones.

Sunday we all had a Jazz brunch together. Sax and drums while laughing and having fun, a feast fit for a king and surrounded by great people. Love it.

A bunch of us went tree trekking adventure, ropes connected by trees. Exhilarating experiences, adrenaline rushes as we balanced on ropes 50 feet from the ground and made our way across from one tree to the next on different challenges. Finished with jumping off at the end on a harness, like a mini bungee. Great fun.

Played Snooker with a new found friend, Pala, kicked his butt ;-)

Bowls, having seen this on tv and though "how boring", we thought we'd find out for ourselves. It started slow but we soon got into it. Ended up beiong a real team building sport, had lots of fun with the team and we were hooked.

So much more, you get the feel. Bottom line, these trips are just magical. You must experience them to understand what I am saying. World Ventures does not sell travel, we sell magical experiences and create magical memories that last for life.

There is not a product in the MLM industry that is more fun and sexy than this, everyone loves to travel or dreams of traveling. Nobody dreams of taking pills and juices or lotions and potions. This is a DREAM product. We show people how to live the DREAM.

Also,

Eid Mubarak to all friends who celebrated Eid this weekend.
A month of ZERO intake for most waking hours is a tough ask. It forces you to appreciate what most of us take for granted. Many in this world have no choice, this is their life. To sacrifice food and water when you most want it gives a tiny insight into how many still live in our world.
I know that fasting is tough but have never even attempted it without water let alone for so many days in a row.
I admire the strength of character and discipline this shows is possible in us as humans. Happy Navrathri to everyone who is celebrating these 9 wonderful days of fun and dance late into the nights, I'm looking forward to doing my bit too, hehehe x

I love you and look forward to hearing your journey as we all move towards greatness together.

See you on Wed night in London or at the Acceleration this weekend. I urge you to do what you must to be there and book asap. I will also be at The View with 40+ UK members taking advantage of the Buy One Get One free deal in Dallas in October.

Slavery-have we moved on?

Posted by: admin

Hey team, It's the weekend again, most people only get 52 of these in a whole year!!! It was not too long ago that slavery was the accepted by humans as "just the way it is", i.e no choice. People were expected to stay on the land and work long hours in exchange for food and shelter. So how different is it today? Freedom, it's the most beautiful experience a human being has. No chains. Modern day chains include time, money, health etc. These restrict a persons ability to experience the world freely, to do what, where and when with whom ever they choose. I can go on all day, so I will let you answer that for yourself. Here is what I would like you to consider..... imagine you can be FREE, I mean totally free from conventional constraints. What would you do, how would you live? This is why i am so passionate about teaching people all over the world how they can move towards this experience one step at a time. So do something this weekend to move your business forward, however little the steps, keep moving toward your imagined destination. If not now then when? If not you then who? I plead for you not to take this opportunity for granted. Some of you are so busy making excuses and finding faults it makes me cringe. Here is some advice that I hope makes a difference. The next time you have an excuse, complaint about your business, point the same light at you job and make that complain bigger than anything else. Get mad about having to spend approx. 70% of your best waking hours for a pay cheque that at best will get you through the month. If you are blessed to have an income that far exceeds your expenses then well done, you may want to ask.... how long would your savings last if you lost your job last week? So team, lets go and teach others a new way of thinking, 100's of millions of people all over the world that understand these principles are on a journey of setting themselves free, get inspired, get angry, get mad, get excited, get enthusiastic, get sick and tired of being SICK and TIRED........ get whatever you must to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, TAKE ACTION!!! RESPONSIBILITY = RESPONSE ABILITY ACTION = ACT "I" ON I am with you in spirit and in person on this journey of yours, I have been through the pain and discipline and now I reap the rewards I so want you to reap. Let's DO IT. Love always Kalpesh x
